Last night, I had one of the best times of my life at my friend Tammie’s Bachelorette Party. The theme was…TOYS!!!! All kinds of toys to be exact. Big ones, small ones, juicy ones, and vibrating ones; all the toys you could imagine were there. It felt so good to be a girl that night.
[Tammie has on playful panties. I wonder who has the button to turn them on.]
[ Blair is teaching us how to use the whip. Get 'em girl!]
[ I'm being powderd with Diva Dust. Clearly, I am a little too exited. LOL]
I would have to agree with Necole Bitchie when she said that Brandy doesn’t need to put out another album…she can just keep singing in the bathroom. I know you all saw Brandy’s first bathroom concert (which gave me chills). And here she is again singing the famous Sam Cooke song, “A Change Is Gonna Come.” The amazing thing to me is, I have never liked anyone singing this song other than Mr. S.C himself. Not Seal, Not Deitrick Haddon, not anybody. To me, they were never able to capture and convey the same emotional pain that Sam Cooke had. And though Brandy’s life hasn’t at all been filled with the heart ache and pain of the injustices from the civil rights movement, this girl brought a mist across my left eye. I was about to shed a tear.
On another note: Where is Brandy getting her hair from? Is that the Goddess Remy by Outre? Nice!
Goodness…So much has been going on in my life that I haven’t had much time to focus on other peoples. But I couldn’t help but stop and watch this new video by Letoya “Regret.” I first heard the song while in Miami. I loved it. It was such a perfect vacation and the beach tune. Now the video is out and Im even more excited. Though it’s your typical “night at the club” set up, it’s still good to see Letoya doing her thing and as beautiful as ever. Ludacris is also showing out in this. He’s really looking like a star! Have I been missing his sexy for all these years?
I felt a little something going on after I finished watching this this video. Trey is so sexy. And so is his co-star model Grace. Homegirl is serving it up for her man. But I can’t hate. I would, too if I were her.
In a 60 Minute interview, Tyler Perry responds to Spike Lee calling Madea, and other famous Tyler Perry characters, coons and buffoons, saying that the racial stereotypes set the black race backwards. Lee may have a point, but Perry’s continues to stand by his work. Take a look at the video to find out more.
My whole thing is this: regardless of whether or not this is “setting black people back,” why do black people always have to go at each other. I mean, if Spike Lee really had a problem, couldn’t he just CALL Tyler Perry and tell him? Why make it a public issue? This isn’t Hip-Hop. This is Cinema!
I guess the whole Taylor Swift incident really got to Kanye West- as it should have. No one should steal the shine from a young girl, right? While searching the net, I came across this interesting video. In it, a drunken Kanye is shunned by party goers in a club. Upset, Kanye stumbles off into a back room where he has sex with a groupie. Once complete, a dazed Kanye completely guts himself with a knife in a supposed effort to remove his ego.
After watching all this, no one can deny Kanye’s level of creativity. My assumption is that this is Kanye’s way of telling the world that he’s really sorry for what his did and that he wants to change. With all this, I think it’s time to forgive and forget. I mean, Taylor has.
We all knew this family was crazy and that they were using the our emergency system as a way to promote themselves. But it took a little while for Larimer County Police Sheriff, Jim Alderden, to figure it out. Better late than never, I guess.
Oh gosh. It has been so long since my last posting on FollowAshley.com. I guess it’s because I’ve been so busy. Between photo shoots and fashion shows, I can never seem to get myself in front of the computer long enough to blog about other folks lives.
I guess that means I should blog more about my own life. Hmmmm.
Anyway, take a look at my new pics. I got them done by the students of CDIA Boston University. Those kids were fantastic. Even though they were just learning photography, their skill level was amazing. It actually reminded me of the photo shoot I did with Ambermag.com a couple of years ago…professional. And the class teacher was so into fashion photography. So great. I hope to shoot with them again soon.
P.S. One of the photographers was sooooooo cute! I wish he would give me a call! LOL.
Just a little while ago, Mario couldn’t get two seconds of a glance from me if he passed me on the street. And his music was almost always sub par to my taste. But in his latest video “Thinking About You,” Mario is sexier than a buff man on a lonely woman’s deserted island. And the song isn’t half bad either. I’m starting to wish I was the girl in the video (Audra Simmons) but I’ll wait for the next video to rub my genie lamp on that one.
What You Think?
