I’m headed to the K St. Lounge in Washington, DC. Too bad I didn’t know that it was one of the worse lounges in the DC area! Everyone there looked as if they had been rejected from some other club. LOL. Needless to say, I did NOT take the bottle service that was prepared for my friend and I. After one drink, we were off to another spot. Total time in K St. Lounge: 27 minutes.
I’m so in love with the Beaded Plaque Multi-Chain Necklace from Express. And I’m really excited that the price dropped from $49 to $14. That’s like 75% off! I love the tribal detail it has. That style was a common trend on the runways this past season so I’m glad I was able to get it. Yay Me! I’ll show you how it looks on me sometime later.
Clearly I did a lot of shopping in Forever 21. But I had to. The deals and styles I found were too good to pass up. Here’s m last post about them for a while (I think). I really wanted some skinny jeans but I couldn’t find them anywhere. Luckily, I found a multitude of options in F21. Several pair looked stunning on yours truly. But I wound up at the cash register with these Fab Color Twill Pant. The price $13.50! The pants are a much deeper blue than what they seem to be in the picture. They’re almost a midnight blue. So, I’ll be able to transition them from day to night without much effort.
When I saw these beautiful pair of Gucci Babouska Boots on Rihanna, I knew I had to have a pair. But with the uber expensive price tag ($995), I wouldn’t be able to purchase a pair until they were already out of style. Thankfully, I found another great pair of boots from Rainbow. Made by Anna Michelle, these shoes share the same open toe and exposed heel as the Gucci pair. Plus, they also have similar studs on them. I love them! Oh, I almost forgot. They only cost me $30!
Forever 21 has to be one of my favorite spots for cheap yet trendy styles. Though I wouldn’t build my entire wardrobe in the store, I definitely go in there when I want to try a new style, or keep up with an existing one, without braking the bank. I really needed to step up my jewelry collection. So, I popped in the store and bought some really cool stuff. 1. Twisted Couture Necklace ($6.80) 2. Heart Shell Necklace ($5.80) 3. Wild Daisy Bead Ring ($4.80). Do you all have any cheap yet trendy jewelry pieces that you love?
I was so in love with Ciara when I saw her in a pair of Altuzarra Lace-Up heels. They look amazing. Too bad I can’t afford the $1130 price tag. But I was just as excited when I walked into J C Penney (of all places) and spotted the Jezebel shoe by Fergalicious. (I didn’t even know Fergie had a shoe line. Where have I been? ) Fergie’s shoes aren’t exactly the same as the Altuzarra Lace-Ups but they definitely share the same style. And that’s what I love.
Last week, I found the best pair of shoes I’ve seen in a while. They’re these Sequin Booties from Charlotte Russe. (I would have put them on display sooner, but I didn’t want to spoil my Easter outfit.) These booties will go so well with a pair of jeans, a white tee or tank, and a statement necklace. Or, I could wear them with a pair of leggins and my Rachel Roy tee. Of course, I’ll wear them when I go out. But what I love the most is that they’re like jewelry for your feet! I am soooo in love with them. Don’t they look FAB?! Oh, and the price…$30!
That’s a great deal.
